Vaccination Day

Animals always seem to know when something is different! Even if you come with a pocketful of treats, they know it is vaccination time! They want the treats oh so badly, but they don't want to come close, since they know you intend to catch them!

Today all my goats received their CDT vaccine. Most of them had been vaccinated less than a year ago, but the issue was, all of them had a different vaccination date. They were all done before or right after joining my herd. So now, they're all the same and documented!

Yoko also received some selenium gel, to help prepare her for kidding! Because the news is official, Sunnybrook Yoko has kids on board! I sent in a sample of blood for a pregnancy test, and the results came back to me this Friday! She is definitely pregnant! She is also negative for Johne's disease and CAE.

Above is copy of the results!

For an idea of how much she has changed, here are some pictures of Yoko from before she was bred.

Doesn't the weather look so warm and pleasant?

She is such a wide load, the poor girl! I am guessing she has twins in there, at least.

Of course, here is a shot of Georgie from then as well! He had been attempting to woo Yoko.

She has such a sweet 'smile'!
